The Jibon Anuprerana Scheme is a new financial support program offered by the Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department of the Government of Assam to the Jibon Anuprerana. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the CM’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme, the applicant must fulfil all of the following conditions:

  1. Should be a full time PhD Research Scholar in a Government/Publication institution in Assam.
  2. Should be a permanent resident of Assam having legitimate evidence.
  3. Should have been admitted to a PhD programme in the year 2025.
  4. Qualified in State and Central Universities located in Assam.
  5. Applicants with different abilities need to submit pertinent Divyang certification issued by a qualified authority.

Not eligible if pursuing a PhD from private universities.

The grant amount will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account using Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
