Mizoram Post Matric Merit Scholarship is one of the education support programs of higher and technical education department, Government of Mizoram. Who is Not Eligible?
The scholarship is not going to be granted in the following cases:
- Students charged with misconduct or breach of discipline
- Students repeating the same level of post-matric studies, even in a different stream or subject
- Students who have already completed one professional course and are now pursuing another professional course of an equivalent level
- Students enrolled in distance or correspondence courses
- Students already receiving another scholarship or stipend of higher value
Note: In case a student is sanctioned a different scholarship of greater values later, he/she should make a choice and report the same to the concerned authority. The payments according to this scheme will be canceled since the date when they accept the scholarship of higher value.

This scholarship is done through offline application. The forms are typically offered during the months of July through to September each year.
